Broceliande is a quartet of musicians, performing acoustic Celtic, Renaissance, and Medieval music on Celtic harp, cello, guitars, mandola, flute, recorders, whistles, and voices. Our repertoire ranges from lively Celtic and Medieval dance music to haunting, harp-based ballads, to 4-part a capella Renaissance madrigals. The group is a few years old and all of us are professionals and have been performing in the Bay Area for ten years or so. Cellist, Kris Yenney trained at Julliard and has worked with Fred Hersh, Janis Siegal of Manhattan Transfer, Yo-Yo Ma, Lyle Lovett, Rod Stewart and others. Broceliande has performed at the Palo Alto Unitarian Church, Hidden Villa, the UK Cafe, Strings, and for private functions.
